| Well, I've been around for quite a while now, and I've seen a few things. In some ways I've seen much, much more than I would ever want to. But for the most part, I haven't seen nearly enough to sate my curiosity about what this world has to offer. Here are a few things I have had the pleasure of experiencing. |

I'll think of something to write about Britain sometime. Meanwhile, you can at least look at some of my pictures. | ![]() |

"Let's just go somewhere we can relax, ok?" Well, we had plenty of time to relax in Hawaii because after the first week, Megs and I were too sunburned to do anything very taxing. We spent a little bit too long paddling around on our surfboards waiting for waves that never came. I guess that's what surf reports are for, right? We still managed to have a lot of fun, but I'm switching sunscreen brands next time I go somewhere tropical. | ![]() |

Megsie and I thought we'd stick with the Western Hemisphere for this vacation. Meg has studied French for years, so France seemed like a good option. We spent a couple of weeks in Paris, with a short side trip to Nice. We must have looked like we knew our way around; people kept stopping us and asking for directions to different places. We had a lot of fun seeing all the sights, but I decided for my next vacation I want to do something a little more relaxing than scurrying from one fascinating place to the next. | ![]() |

My good buddy Megan and I decided to do a little puddle hopping and see what the Orient had in the way of worldly delights. Our time there was way too short. My biggest disappointment was the Great Wall of China. I think that's just because we went to the touristy part. It has been largely rebuilt, and very little of the original wall remains in that part. Next time I go to China, I'm going to the wild wall, just to see how it compares. Japan was really fun too. I had a chance to visit Kyoto, something I've wanted to do from the first time I ever went to Japan. It was also fun seeing some of my Japanese friends, such as Ai and Azusa. |
