Big screw-up

I was updating my blog software and majorly screwed it up, so all of the comments have disappeared from the posts. Sorry. The good news is the posts didn’t disappear. If you’ve registered and can’t log in, let me know and I’ll fix it right away.

Update: I fixed the comments, too. I hope I got all of the bugs out and that this whole blogging thing will go smoother from now on.

Christmas letter

After we got the hat situated and took photos to have evidence of our deed, we went to a nearby bakery to get some muffins and hot chocolate. We went back to the troll with our baked goods and beverages and sat across the street to watch people react. It seemed like a hit with folks, so I hope it stays awhile and some bum doesn’t decide to use it as a sleeping bag.

Update: The troll’s hat was gone Monday morning. I’m disappointed in Seattle.

It was still pouring rain when we got to Portland, so we hung out at Powell’s awhile before the show. Right before the concert, I looked at my cell phone and saw that I had a text message saying I-5 between Portland and Seattle had been closed because of flooding. Continue reading ‘Stuck in Portland’
