One of my favorite books when I was little was “Maudie’s Mush Pots” by Joan Woods. My family didn’t even own the book, just a photocopy pasted onto the pages of a notebook. My brother Paul recently tracked down a copy for me (I didn’t ask how much he paid for it), and I still think it’s a delightful little book. Anyway, when I decided to start a website to keep my family posted on my doings (way before I discovered blog software), the name “Mushpots” popped into my head, and it stuck.
