Last week, my friend Joanne came to visit. We’re no longer the sassy young things we were when we were roommates at BYU; she’s a busy mom of three and I’m a crusty old newspaper woman. My baby brother is now married. That means no more carefree summers playing tennis every morning and sometimes in the evening, too. Ah well. He seems really happy with Alysson, and I wish them all the best. The happy couple was married March 8 at the Las Vegas temple. I pray they’ll have an eternity of joy together.
