Trolling for laughs

A couple of years ago, I made a Santa hat to go on the Fremont troll so I could take pictures for my Christmas cards. It’s been in a plastic bag in the closet ever since, so I thought I’d dress up Mr. Troll again this year and just leave the hat for others to enjoy. So my friend Todd, Meg and I took a little jaunt to the troll to doll him up for the holidays. After we got the hat situated and took photos to have evidence of our deed, we went to a nearby bakery to get some muffins and hot chocolate. We went back to the troll with our baked goods and beverages and sat across the street to watch people react. It seemed like a hit with folks, so I hope it stays awhile and some bum doesn’t decide to use it as a sleeping bag.

Update: The troll’s hat was gone Monday morning. I’m disappointed in Seattle.

  • Bilbo would be proud of you!! I am surprised you decided to leave the santa hat on the troll. Your blog makes me want to have baked goods and beverages.
